The Magic Kindgom
Enjoy 6 lands of attractions, restaurants, shows, parades and fireworks!
The Magic Kingdom opened its gates to the first guests on October 1, 1971. It is now the most visited theme park in the world! And once you have experienced its magic, you can completely understand why.
Each of Disney's four theme parks has an icon at the center of the park. Cinderella's Castle is The Magic Kingdom's icon. You can watch the fabulous shows on the castle stage, walk through the castle and even eat there! And don't forget about the fantastic fireworks that go off just behind the castle.
Here are a few tips for you to consider when visiting The Magic Kingdom.
1) It is best to not wait in the standby line of an attraction that has FastPass+ . However, if you must, Jungle Cruise, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh and Dumbo the Flying Elephant are three that either move quickly or have interactive queues. Avoid Peter Pan's Flight and any of the "Mountain" attractions (Splash Mountain, Space Mountain or Big Thunder Mountain Railroad) as those lines will move very slowly. These MUST be FAST PASSed.
2) If you're not sure what sounds good for your meal, head over to Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe in Tomorrowland. Featuring burgers, chicken, BBQ ribs, soups, salads and sandwiches, you're bound to find something for everyone in your party.
3) The Walt Disney World Railroad makes three stops (Front of the park, Frontier land and Storybook Circus). You can enjoy a nice train ride, but also utilize this as a transport around the park (you can even bring strollers on the train).
